Army guards Libingan ng mga Bayani for Undas 2025

The Philippine Army on Friday assured the public that preparations are in full swing at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB) for the observance of Undas 2025, as thousands are expected to visit the resting place of the country’s fallen heroes.

Army Spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala told Manila Standard that the LNMB is fully prepared to accommodate visitors who will pay respects to their departed loved ones on November 1 and 2.

“LNMB is fully prepared for the visit of the loved ones of our nation’s fallen heroes. We have security and CDM (civil disturbance management) personnel ready, as well as medical teams who will assist our fellow citizens,” Dema-ala said.

He added that the Army will work closely with the Philippine National Police and local government units to ensure peace, order, and public safety throughout the two-day commemoration.

More than 60,000 visitors are expected to flock to the LNMB during the observance of Undas.

Dema-ala also reminded the public to follow security guidelines and refrain from bringing prohibited items inside the premises.

“A reminder to visitors to follow the guidelines and avoid bringing prohibited items. We ask for everyone’s cooperation and participation to ensure a peaceful and orderly observance of Undas,” he said.

The Army spokesperson emphasized that maintaining order at the LNMB is a shared responsibility and a small but meaningful way of honoring the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes.
