Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon meet to review audit of completed and ongoing farm-to-market roads, identifying problematic sections and evaluating which projects may require legal action. The DA wants to assume full responsibility for the construction of FMRs beginning 2026, taking over from the DPWH to restore integrity and efficiency to one of the most vital components of rural infrastructure.
