“Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” Big Winner Fyang Smith shared words of advice for the new batch of residents in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” encouraging them to stay authentic throughout their stay inside the iconic house.
Speaking during the press conference of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins” with her on-screen partner and fellow “PBB” alumnus JM Ibarra, Fyang looked back on her own experience as a housemate.
“Feeling ko naman hindi sila mauubusan ng pagkain kasi sobrang dami. Ako nung time na ‘yun, nagnanakaw pa ako ng pagkain. Pero ngayon, feeling ko puno sila ng pagkain,” Fyang said jokingly.
She noted that it’s easy for housemates to become too comfortable and forget they’re being watched by millions.
“Ganun ka-comfortable sa Bahay ni Kuya. Minsan makakalimutan mo talaga na pinapanuod ka ng milyun-milyong tao,” she continued.
When asked for advice, Fyang urged the current housemates to embrace their true selves.
“Magpakatotoo lang sila. Hindi mo naman ma-pi-please lahat ng tao. Mas ma-a-appreciate sila ng taong bayan kapag hindi sila naging plastic,” Fyang added.
Fyang was hailed as season’s Big Winner, besting Rain Celmar, Kolette Madelo, and Kai Montinola.
