The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) said it generated more than P600 million in potential sales during the Internationale Tourismus Börse (ITB) Asia 2025 held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore from Oct. 15 to 17.
The three-day global trade event attracted strong interest in Philippine destinations and tourism packages, reinforcing the country’s position as a leading destination in the Asia-Pacific region.
A total of 23 accredited Philippine sellers, including hotels, resorts, airlines and tour operators, participated in the event, completing 842 business-to-business appointments with over a thousand exhibiting companies and 1,500 qualified buyers. The overall event gathered more than 18,000 attendees.
The Philippines’ 171-square-meter booth, featuring capiz shell accents and vivid images of top destinations, drew consistent interest from leisure, corporate, and Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) buyers.
The country promoted key destinations such as Cebu, Boracay and Palawan, alongside diving and halal tourism packages. MICE, adventure, sports, and beach holidays were key areas of interest for buyers.
