MANILA—Security Bank Corp on Monday launched its flagship BetterBanking Rewards platform, offering a personalized and digital-first banking experience for credit card rewards and rebates.
The new platform allows credit cardholders to track and redeem reward points on a real-time basis, addressing customer demand for greater flexibility and transparency, according to the bank.
“BetterBanking Rewards will redefine how our customers experience banking—by making every transaction rewarding, every moment convenient, and every point meaningful,” said Security Bank vice president and credit cards head Meri Filart.
“We listened to our customers and understood that they wanted more flexibility and transparency in how they manage their rewards,” said Filart.
The platform introduces two new features: Pay with Rewards and Points Exchange.
Pay with Rewards enables cardholders to use their points to purchase items at any merchant that accepts Mastercard. Meanwhile, the Points Exchange feature allows cardholders to convert their points into rewards for over one hundred airline miles and hotel loyalty programs.
Filart said the new platform “is just the start of a more personalized, digital-first experience that gives our customers the freedom to enjoy the rewards that matter most to them.”
