Kapuso actress and singer Rita Daniela expressed gratitude after winning her legal battle against actor Archie Alemania, who was found guilty of acts of lasciviousness by a Bacoor court.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Rita thanked God and everyone who supported her through the case.
“Thank you God for everything. Thank you for blessing me with people who have great hearts who have been helping me and still believing in me no matter what,” she wrote.
The ruling sentenced Archie to up to one year in jail and ordered him to pay ₱20,000 in civil indemnity and ₱20,000 in moral damages. The case stemmed from a 2024 incident in which Rita accused the actor of sexual misconduct.
“The justice I received today is not only for me but for all the women and men who were abused, harassed, and molested who didn’t have the voice and platform to fight for their own rights,” she added.
Celebrities and fans filled Rita’s comments section with words of support, praising her for her courage and resilience.
“Today, we all won. We won. God loves us,” she wrote, closing her post with a message of hope.
