Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales are reuniting on the big screen for The Loved One, a new romantic drama directed by Irene Villamor and produced by Viva Films.
The film quietly wrapped up shooting in August, marking Anne and Jericho’s first project together since their 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival hit Baler.
Rumors of a reunion began earlier this year when Anne posted a dinner photo with Jericho and Villamor, teasing fans with the caption, “When like minds collide.”
In an interview with PeopleAsia, Anne shared that she immediately connected with Villamor’s new story, describing her process for choosing roles as instinct-driven.
“As soon as I read a script and I’m hooked, that’s when I know it’s something I want to pursue,” she said.
The It’s Okay to Not Be Okay star also reflected on her artistic evolution, saying she has learned to rely on technique rather than pure emotion in her performances.
