The Philippine Navy is set to host the country’s first-ever Drone Warfare Summit from October 27 to 29, 2025 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC).
Organized in partnership with Defense Expo Philippines, the summit will bring together select local and international participants from countries including Canada, Turkey, Spain, France, the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, and Norway.
The event will also feature a live drone demonstration at Malawaan Park to showcase cutting-edge unmanned systems technology.
Inside the SBECC, delegates will explore interactive booths, immersive displays, and breakout sessions on critical topics such as drone warfare strategy, policy formulation, and the integration of unmanned systems into modern military operations.
Also to be highlighted are airborne and counter-drone technologies, as well as land-based drones used for surveillance, logistics, and tactical support—reflecting the growing influence of unmanned systems in contemporary warfare.
“Through collaborative engagement among military, industry, and academic stakeholders, the PN Drone Warfare Summit 2025 aims to advance capacity-building efforts and strengthen the Philippines’ role as a future-ready and reliable security partner in the Indo-Pacific region.” Philippine Fleet spokesperson Commander Randy Garbo said.
