“Women have always been at the heart of my creative process. Every piece I design is a love letter to them,” Tetangco said in an interview after the show. She described her collection as dreamy and futuristic, yet timeless and grounded in reality, representing new beginnings for Filipino fashion.

At Samsung Hall, Viktor, led by designers Ino Caluza and Will Mueco, presented a bold, cinematic showcase inspired by Blade Runner 2049. The duo used denim, leather, vegan leather, wool, and locally produced fabrics to create looks that merged dystopian themes with everyday wear.

“We wanted to show what Viktor can offer to this growing market,” Mueco said, adding that the collection reflects their brand’s roots in custom-made jeans and jackets.

The designers said they hope Manila Fashion Week encourages audiences to support local fashion talent, highlighting Filipino creativity on both local and global stages.
