Bounty Fresh Group Holdings Inc. plans to open about 300 new Chooks-to-Go rotisserie chicken stores nationwide this year as it strengthens its foothold in the retail food segment.
Bounty Fresh Group chief executive Kenneth Cheng said in a news briefing that the expansion reflects the company’s confidence in the Philippine market and the sustained recovery of the country’s poultry industry.
The group expects to close the year with about 2,000 stores across all regions, including Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
“We’re planning to add around three-hundred stores for the year. We’re also continuously adding new stores while upgrading existing ones,” Cheng said, noting that store performance has improved alongside expansion efforts.
Chooks-to-Go falls under Chooks-to-Go Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bounty Fresh.
Cheng said the store growth follows a decentralized model where local branches determine expansion needs based on regional demand and supply capability.
