South Korean singer and actress Jisoo and British pop star Zayn have joined forces for a new single titled “Eyes Closed,” released under Warner Records.
The duet blends pop and R&B elements as it explores the excitement and uncertainty of falling in love. Jisoo and Zayn trade verses over atmospheric production featuring acoustic guitar, bass synth, and warm keys.
“Eyes Closed” marks the first collaboration between the Blackpink member and the former One Direction singer. The release comes as Jisoo continues performing on Blackpink’s Deadline World Tour, which has sold out stadiums across multiple continents. Zayn, meanwhile, is preparing for his first Las Vegas residency in early 2026.
The track follows Jisoo’s debut mini album Amortage, led by singles “Earthquake” and “Your Love.” The four-song collection debuted at No. 1 on the South Korea Albums Chart and has generated nearly half a billion streams since its release.
Zayn, whose debut solo album Mind of Mine made him the first U.K. male artist to debut at No. 1 on both the U.K. and U.S. charts, released his fourth studio album, Room Under the Stairs, in 2024. He recently collaborated with the Borderlands 4 video game franchise on the song “Break Free.”
Outside of music, Jisoo continues to expand her global influence as a fashion and cultural figure. She serves as ambassador for Dior, Cartier, Dyson, and ALO Yoga, and stars in the Prime Video K-drama Newtopia.
Both artists’ collaboration on “Eyes Closed” showcases their evolving artistry and international reach, uniting two of the most recognized voices in pop today.
