Air Force transports more relief supplies to quake-hit Cebu

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) transported another batch of relief goods to Cebu as part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) operations in areas affected by the recent earthquake in the province.

On Wednesday, a C-130 cargo aircraft flew from Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City to Brigadier General Benito N. Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-Lapu City, carrying supplies provided by the Presidential Security Command.

The shipment included eight sacks of picnic tents, 10 sacks of blankets, and 60 boxes of tent materials, which will be distributed to earthquake-hit communities in Northern Cebu.

In a statement, the PAF said its latest operation highlights its continued commitment to providing rapid airlift support and ensuring the swift delivery of essential supplies to disaster-stricken areas in coordination with partner agencies and organizations.

“The continued efforts underscore the PAF’s commitment to provide rapid airlift support and ensure the timely delivery of essential supplies to disaster-stricken areas, in close coordination with partner agencies and organizations,” PAF Spokesperson Col. Ma. Christina Basco said.
