The concept for Emgrand Spa traces back to Liaoning province in northern China, where the founder, Mr. Dong, experienced large-scale wellness centers that combined multiple services in one place.
Having lived in the Philippines for several years, he introduced the concept in Manila with the goal of creating a place where families and groups could linger and enjoy time together. Keeping the spa open 24 hours supports that idea, giving guests the flexibility to use the facilities without worrying about closing hours.
While the spa first drew mainly Chinese guests, it now attracts a mix of Filipinos, Koreans, and other foreigners.
