Shuvee Etrata breaks silence on backlash: ‘Parang pinagtutulungan ako ng lahat’

Rising Kapuso star Shuvee Etrata has spoken out about the wave of criticism she has faced after her old posts resurfaced online, saying the judgment has taken a toll on her.

In an interview with MJ Felipe for TV Patrol, the former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate admitted she deactivated her X account to protect her mental health.

“I always take constructive criticism but if it’s really a hate [message] yun yung di ko magegets eh… Parang pinagtutulungan ako ng lahat,” she said, adding that she questioned if she had truly done anything wrong.

Shuvee revealed that some nights the issue left her in tears. She clarified that she had always been against ABS-CBN’s shutdown, saying she grew up a fan of the network. S

he also addressed her past comment about Vice Ganda, stressing it was misunderstood and confirming she has reached out to the comedian to clear the air. The two are expected to meet while filming the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival entry Call Me Mother.

Reflecting on the controversy, Shuvee assured her fans she is moving forward, “Right now, you’re facing the better Shuvee. One who decides and thinks for the betterment of others.”
