Electric vehicle (EV) logistics company Mober is expanding its efforts to promote efficient delivery of public services in the country through green logistics this year.
In an exclusive interview with the Manila Standard, Mober’s Founder and CEO Dennis Ng said they envision integrating green logistics into various aspects of public service delivery.
“While we are starting with mobile pharmacies, we are open to supporting other applications such as mobile kitchens, emergency response vehicles, and other community services, depending on the needs identified by our government partners,” he shared.
This month, the company partnered with the provincial government of Laguna to use an initial two electric three-wheeler tricycles.
The partnership is in line with Laguna governor Sol Aragones’ agenda to improve healthcare in the province, especially for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens.
Ng noted that the company is assessing the community’s needs to determine possible scale-up as they intend to expand deployment based on demand, impact, and available resources.
Meanwhile, he clarified that their partnerships are not limited to local government units (LGUs) as they are actively collaborating with enterprises, NGOs, and national government agencies across various industries.
“We believe that achieving decarbonization and sustainability goals requires collective action from local communities to multinational corporations. Whether it’s co-developing renewable energy solutions, enabling electric fleet adoption, or supporting inclusive workforce programs, we see our role as a trusted partner in helping organizations bring their green commitments to life,” said Ng.
In March, Mober launched Central Charge, the country’s largest commercial EV charging hub, marking a major step toward sustainable transport.
