In a concerted effort to boost the integration and institutionalization of Peace Education across the Philippine education system, the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Education (DepEd) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday, Sept. 18. Under the MOU, the groups committed to work together in the areas of policy and program development, capacity development, curriculum and resource development, data research and knowledge sharing, and advocacy and social mobilization.
