Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto told fans in a Thursday night vlog that her husband, San Francisco police officer Trevor Magallanes, died in July of natural causes, citing an autopsy that ruled it a sudden death. She stressed there was no foul play and no suicide.
“Sudden death po ang nangyari… Wala pong suicide o foul play,” Quinto said, calling the loss “shocking” and “masakit.”

Magallanes’ older brother joined the vlog, noting a family history of heart disease. Quinto said the video was for closure: “After this we leave all this behind para maka-move on din ako.”
The couple married in November 2016.
