AHOF’s Chih En to take temporary break for health reasons

K-pop group AHOF member Chih En will be taking a temporary hiatus from all activities to focus on his health.

On Monday, Sept. 16, AHOF’s agency, F&F Entertainment, said the decision followed medical advice for the singer to suspend his schedule and prioritize “absolute rest and recovery.”

“Although the artist himself expressed a strong desire to continue his activities and keep his promise to fans, we have decided that his health must come first,” it added.

Effective immediately, AHOF will continue as an eight-member group consisting of Steven, Seo Jeongwoo, Cha Woongki, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, and Daisuke.

F&F Entertainment apologized to fans for the sudden news, assuring them that it would “do our utmost to ensure that Chih En recovers quickly and can greet fans again with a bright and healthy appearance.”

The company also thanked fans for their continued support of the group, which has been steadily building its international following.

No timeline has been given for Chih En’s return, but management emphasized that his recovery would remain the top priority.

AHOF is composed of members from the survival reality show Universe League, which includes Filipino member JL, and made its debut on July 1.
