Singer-actress Ashtine Olviga had a candid revelation about her onscreen partner Andres Muhlach, calling him her “plot twist” of 2024.
The Mutya ng Section E star made the admission during a recent Rec•Create episode, where the two took part in a lie detector challenge. Known as AshDres, the rising love team has been gaining traction for their natural chemistry, both on and off screen.
Asked if Andres was her type, Ashtine initially said no but later admitted she found him cute as she got to know him better.
“Noong una hindi kasi mas tumitingin ako sa heart ng tao. Tapos nung nakilala ko siya, sabi ko ay cute naman,” she explained, adding that she once assumed he was arrogant but discovered “sobrang kabaligtaran.”
When asked to leave a message for Andres, Ashtine didn’t hold back. “Ang masasabi ko lang ay happy ako na nakilala kita at blessing ka sa akin. Sabi ko sa kanya yun siya yung plot twist ko nung 2024,” she said.
For his part, Andres returned the sentiment, calling Ashtine a blessing in his life. “I learned a lot about myself just working with Ash, and siyempre yung dynamic namin—you just can’t beat it,” he said.
The two will reunite onscreen in Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna, directed by Jason Paul Laxamana.
