Singlife Philippines has launched two new features for its mobile app including an annual payment option and payment via QRPH, offering customers a cheaper and more convenient way to settle their insurance premiums.
The annual payment feature provides a one-time payment option for a full year of insurance coverage, which allows customers to save up to 17 percent compared to a recurring monthly payment, according to the company.
This option is available for several products, including the 100-in-1 Protection Plan and Protect from Medical Costs.
Meanwhile, the in-app Payment via QRPH feature offers a quick and secure way to pay insurance premiums with zero transfer fees. The feature is compatible with major banks and e-wallets, providing customers with more options.
“Before, insurance felt extremely complicated and only for a privileged few. We’re here to change that,” said Lester Cruz, chief executive of Singlife Philippines.
“With these new features, we’re making protection more practical and more accessible,” said Cruz.
