In a Facebook post, member of the Sentrong Alyansa ng mga Mamamayan para sa BAYAN-SAMBAYANAN, Ka Eric Jeff Celiz posted a photo that says, “PANAWAGAN NANG PAGKAKAISA AT PAGTINDIG! BLACK FRIDAY PEOPLE’S PROTESTS IBANGON AND DANGAL NG BANSANG PILIPINAS,”

Meanwhile, student-led organizations have also posted their support for the movement.

In an X (formerly Twitter) post, the University of the Philippines University Student Council will also hold its university-wide protest at 11 a.m. in the UP College of Arts and Letters faculty center.

“Mga Iskolar ng Bayan, magsuot ng ITIM at kumilos laban sa korapsyon! Ipaglaban ang sapat at mas mataas na pondo para sa edukasyon,” the post reads.

The League of Filipino Students – Katipunan will also hold a protest at 5 p.m.

“Now is the most critical time to take a firm stand against rampant corruption. No longer can we stomach unmatched greed, and no longer can the swindling of the Filipino people be treated as standard operating procedure. We must make our rage felt in the streets,” the post said.

This event aims to symbolize the Filipino people’s outrage and collective condemnation of corruption.
