Rookie K-pop group AHOF, formed through SBS’s reality survival show Universe League, has given its fans an official name.
On Tuesday, Sept. 9, the nine-member act announced that their fandom will be called “FOHA,” the backward spelling of AHOF and a pun that sounds like the word “for.” The name highlights that the group and their supporters are “for” one another.
AHOF debuted last July 1 with its first mini album, “Who We Are,” and lead single, “Rendezvous.” The multinational lineup, which includes Filipino member JL, has quickly built an international following.
The fandom announcement comes on the heels of the group’s sold-out Manila fan concert, “Rendezvous in Manila,” held on Aug. 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, which filled within 30 minutes of tickets going on sale. AHOF also held a fan signing event the next day at Robinsons Galleria.
