THE Philippine Embassy in Israel has announced the resumption of Overseas Voter Registration from Dec. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2027.
In a Facebook post, the embassy said Filipino citizens may file their registration applications at any Philippine embassy, consulate, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office, designated post abroad, or designated registration centers in the Philippines.
“If you’re at least 18 years old by May 8, 2028, and eligible (to vote), make sure to register and participate in shaping the future of our nation,” the Facebook post reads.
The embassy also advised applicants to bring their; Seafarer’s Record Book (for sailors), or the original or a certified true copy of Order of Approval of Filipino Citizenship or Identification Certificate (for dual citizens).
This notice is in accordance with Republic Act No. 9819, as amended by Republic Act No. 10590, and COMELEC Resolution No. 11171, it said.
All citizens of the Philippines residing abroad who are not otherwise disqualified by law and who are at least 18 years of age on or before May 8, 2028 may register as overseas voters to participate in the 2028 Philippine elections while staying overseas.
