The caption read, “December 2025,” prompting speculation that the group will be releasing a comeback project before the year ends.

The teaser drew comparisons to EXO’s 2012 debut with the track “Mama,” which introduced the group’s storyline about powers and parallel worlds. Because of the similarities, fans believe the group may be returning to its original concept.

Consisting of Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun, the upcoming project may be EXO’s first full-group comeback in years. The group is known for songs such as “Growl,” “Call Me Baby,” and “Love Shot.”
