“Milestone unlocked. I’m so happy to share that I am now officially a voting member of the Recording Academy/GRAMMY Awards,” he wrote.

“Becoming part of the 2025 New Member Class is an incredible honor. It means joining a global community of creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music and raising the standard of excellence worldwide,” Manalo added.

As part of the Academy, Manalo will now play a role in the Grammy voting process.

“As a member, I now have a voice in the GRAMMY Awards process, a platform to advocate for our industry, and an opportunity to stand alongside my peers as we uplift one another and the art form we love,” he said.

Manalo was named one of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ Ten Outstanding Music Artists of the 2010s and, in 2023, received the Gawad Pio Valenzuela Award for his contributions as a songwriter and producer.
