Farmers and fishermen in Balanga, Bataan have received livelihood support worth more than P400,000 from the Department of Agriculture and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
The package included marine engines, seeds, fertilizers, pressure cookers, and canners.

The turnover coincided with the recent birthday celebration of Balanga Mayor Raquel Garcia.
“Helping your fellowmen is not only about meeting their needs, but also about enhancing their dignity by inspiring them to do the same for others,” Garcia said in Filipino.
