Kapamilya actress Yen Santos and former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson have broken their silence on long-running rumors linking them to an alleged love child.
In a vlog uploaded on Santos’ channel, the two laughed off the speculation.
When asked directly about the issue, Singson replied jokingly, “Palagay ko ikaw lang makakasagot niyan,” while Santos clarified that the child often rumored to be theirs is actually her younger sibling, who also happens to be Singson’s godchild.
“Parang more than a decade na kasi. He’s a good family friend. Super tropa ng aking parents kaya lagi tayo nai-issue,” Santos said, adding that Singson has been close to her family for years.
Singson said he had no message for critics, dismissing the matter as baseless talk.
“Wala naman, okay lang dahil yung iba marites lang,” he remarked.
The actress reiterated that she felt the need to address the rumors again to stop the spread of misinformation.
“Yes, malaki na siya. He’s 11 years old, pero hindi po namin ‘yun anak. Kapatid ko po siya,” she said.
