Kristoffer Martin revealed he was recently involved in a road accident while cycling, sharing his experience through photos and a lengthy post on social media.
The actor said he had just left a meeting point and was adjusting his shoes when a motorbike traveling against the flow of traffic suddenly appeared. He described how both he and the rider were thrown off balance.
“Naaksidente ako kanina. Ang bilis ng pangyayari,” he wrote, recalling how the other driver, whom he believed to be intoxicated, fell and was left bloodied. “Akala ko nakapatay ako,” he admitted, adding that he spent hours at a precinct waiting for news on the man’s condition.
Martin expressed relief that both survived with only minor injuries, saying he was grateful to God for sparing their lives. He reminded his followers to always be cautious on the road and to remember the families waiting for them at home.
The “Cruz vs. Cruz” star ended his post with a plea for motorists not to drive under the influence of alcohol, stressing, “Pag lasing, pumirmi na kung saan abutan… wag na magmotor or magdrive. Please.”
