Korean idol V of K-pop sensation BTS will make a special appearance at Dodger Stadium.
On x, Major League Baseball (MLB) announced that V will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game against the Cincinnati Reds on Aug. 25, Monday.

V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, is the latest in a line of international stars invited to participate in MLB’s ceremonial traditions.
The event also marks one of V’s first public appearances since being discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service in June, along with fellow BTS member RM.
BTS has completed its military service in June and confirmed its plans to reunite in 2026 with a new album and a world tour.
