Fashion that keeps up with everyday life

We live in a time where movement defines us. Between office hours, weekend trips, and the unpredictability of daily life, wardrobes have to keep up. The latest “Modernity in Motion” collection captures that rhythm with streamlined pieces designed to work as hard as we do.

The collection focuses on effortless dressing. Jackets insulated with Pufftech provide warmth with a sleek finish, while Heattech cashmere combines comfort with a refined touch. The approach is practical but not plain, offering quietly functional pieces meant for real life.

The lineup debuts in two phases starting July 21. The first release expands the Uniqlo : C sweatshirt line with a new crewneck style and adds women’s pieces such as a cropped cocoon shirt and a midi-length culotte. The second phase, set for Sept. 5, highlights winter essentials including outerwear, cashmere knits, and Blocktech waterproof jackets.

Pufftech, a lightweight high-performance insulation developed with Toray, is featured prominently. The collection also introduces Heattech Cashmere Blend for men for the first time.

“This collection embodies the spirit of movement and function in wardrobe essentials,” said designer Clare Waight Keller.

“This season’s new innovation is the incorporation of Pufftech, a cutting-edge technology that allows for incredible performance of warmth in an ultra-lightweight jacket with a completely seam-free finish,” Keller added.

The women’s line includes 23 items, ranging from outerwear priced at P3,990 to P6,990, to accessories priced from P1,290 to P2,990. The men’s range consists of 15 items with outerwear priced at P3,990 to P7,990, alongside seven accessories.

The collection is available at the Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, and online at uniqlo.com.

Clare Waight Keller became Uniqlo creative director in September 2024 after leading major fashion houses in London and Paris. She won Womenswear Designer of the Year at the 2018 British Fashion Awards and was named one of TIME magazine’s most influential people in 2019. Her focus for this collection is clear, less about grand gestures and more about refining pieces people will rely on every day.
