Wendy of Red Velvet is set to return to the Philippines early next year as part of her first solo world tour.
The singer announced on X that her W:ealive tour will include a Manila stop on Jan. 17, 2026. Details on the venue and ticketing are expected to be released soon.
Wendy, whose real name is Son Seung-wan, debuted with Red Velvet in 2014, the group behind hits such as “Red Flavor,” “Bad Boy,” “Psycho,” and “Cosmic.” In 2021, she pursued solo music with the extended play Like Water.
Earlier this year, Wendy signed with ASND after leaving SM Entertainment, though she remains an active member of Red Velvet.
Her upcoming show will mark her return to the country after performing with the group in September 2024 for the Manila leg of their Happiness: My Dear, ReVe1uv fan concert tour. Filipino ReVeluvs now await her first solo stage in the country.
