And that’s what employees at Takeda Philippines feel about working at the company. The global healthcare firm has been named a Great Place to Work for the fourth consecutive year, with 86 percent of employees in the 2025 survey saying it is a great place to work, well above the national average of 65 percent.
The recognition from Great Place to Work, a global authority on workplace culture, highlights the company’s efforts to maintain a high-trust, supportive environment. Takeda Philippines first received the certification in 2022.
Country manager Loreann Villanueva thanked employees for their feedback, saying it helps the company identify strengths and areas for improvement.
“We are committed to listening, learning, and taking meaningful action to ensure Takeda continues to be a place where everyone can thrive,” she said.
Villanueva noted that 100 percent of employees surveyed said their work at Takeda is a calling. Employees also praised the company’s culture. Access to Medicines lead Sheryll Anne Corpuz cited its open communication and shared vision, while Medical Operations and Excellence manager Hazel Canlas said the company values both professional and personal growth.
Great Place to Work vice president Sarah Lewis-Kulin said earning the certification requires consistent dedication to the employee experience. The organization’s research shows that employees at certified workplaces are more likely to look forward to work, feel fairly compensated, and see fair opportunities for promotion.
