Social media personality Bea Borres responded to ex-boyfriend Meray Yamada’s revelation that he is the father of her baby.
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, Bea took to her TikTok account, stating that she had never publicly identified Meray as the father.
“Nyek, nauna pa mag-sabi ng gender! I never even revealed na siya ‘yung dad,” the caption read.
She clarified in the video that she had no intention of making such an announcement.
“I never revealed na siya ‘yung dad, but nagpakilala siya. He also revealed the gender,” she added.
Meray, who serves as sales vice president of iShip Logipack Inc., addressed the matter in a now-deleted TikTok comment. He said he would support the child despite their breakup.
“Things may not have worked between Bea and me, but I never said I didn’t want to be there for our baby,” he wrote.
“Walking away has never been an option for me… I’m going to do whatever it takes to be the best father I can be,” Meray continued.
Bea announced her pregnancy on Tuesday, Aug. 12, saying she had not expected to become a mother but was excited for the new chapter in her life.
