Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon says the Metro Rail Transit Line-3 and Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 will remove forms for students, senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) seeking fare discounts. The DOTr also unveiled special Beep cards for students that would be available on the MRT and LRT lines. The student Beep cards will automatically have the 50-percent fare discount, similar to the dedicated Beep cards for senior citizens and PWDs.
