Emilio Daez is taking on a new big-screen challenge as he joins the cast of Bar Boys: After School, the sequel to the hit 2017 legal drama Bar Boys.
He will play Ziggy, a wealthy young business owner who, despite struggling to read emotions and express his feelings, genuinely cares for his workers.
The role was revealed on the film’s official Facebook page, which shared that Daez landed the part after a months-long audition process involving more than 70 hopefuls.

Production also noted that he began acting workshops for the role in early July, training under multi-award-winning actress Sue Prado.
Fans quickly flooded social media with messages of support, calling the casting an exciting next step for Daez after his Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition stint and his debut series Love at First Spike on iWant.
Daez joins fellow PBB alumnus Will Ashley, who will play Arvin, a struggling law student balancing work and family duties, and Klarisse De Guzman, who portrays Mae, a devoted sister and fan club president.
