Social media personality Bea Borres revealed that she is expecting her first child.
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, Bea shared the news through a vlog uploaded to her YouTube channel.
The 22-year-old content creator did not reveal the baby’s gender or the identity of the father as of writing.
“I promise you and everyone that gets to watch this in the future that I’d really, really be the best mom,” said Bea.
“It’s true that I’m not ready, but I don’t think anyone or anything prepares you for motherhood,” she added.
Bea also shared that she had the gender of her baby emailed to her ahead of next week’s gender reveal party so she could have “a private moment” with herself and her child.
Calling her pregnancy the “greatest blessing” she has received, she admitted it was not how she envisioned becoming a mother but expressed pride in handling the challenges so far. She also said her pregnancy is considered low-risk, for which she is grateful.
Friends and family have shown support, including her best friend, actress Andrea Brillantes, who appeared in the vlog and assured Bea she would be by her side.
