Manila International Book Fair to return this September

The country’s biggest and longest-running book fair, the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), is set to return from Sept. 10 to Sept. 14 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Spanning two floors of the venue, the fair will feature an extensive marketplace of books alongside special events bringing together publishers, authors, educators, and readers.

This year’s theme, “Stories in Every Form,” celebrates the evolving world of storytelling beyond the printed page, including comics, graphic novels, audiobooks, digital platforms, and other creative formats.

“We’re coming back soon! Remember to set aside your paychecks because MIBF is just around the corner,” the post read.

“Grab those fresh new titles, discover rows upon rows of unseen universes, say hello to your favorite authors at book launches and signings, and make new memories through immersive experiences especially curated to stoke that fire within every reader,” it added.

More than 100 local and international exhibitors are expected to participate, including Adarna House, Anvil Publishing, Ateneo de Manila University Press, Comic Odyssey, Fully Booked, National Book Development Board, National Book Store, Phoenix Publishing House, and Summit Publishing.
