P-pop sensation SB19 is set to release a Japan-exclusive physical CD of their Simula at Wakas EP this September, marking another international milestone for the group.
Sony Music Japan announced the release via social media on August 5, accompanied by a video greeting from the five-member group.
“Simula at Wakas is about a journey of making everything into a period,” the group shared. “As humans, we were taught that we must find our purpose. And in the process, we tend to seek three things—knowledge, immortality, and legacy.”
The album, originally released in April, includes eight tracks such as “DAM,” “Time,” and the viral hit “Dungka!”
The upcoming Japan release is part of the group’s continued push into the global market, following recent highlights like their world tour and a collaborative single with pop icon Sarah Geronimo titled “Umaaligid.”
SB19—composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—described the CD as the “last installment of Ikalawang Yugto,” inviting fans not to miss what they called the “overture.”
The group is currently on tour in support of Simula at Wakas, performing in key cities across Asia and beyond.
