Athena Magallanes, daughter of actress-comedian Rufa Mae Quinto, paid tribute to her late father, Trevor Magallanes, in a touching Instagram post.
Trevor, who passed away last month, was married to Quinto since 2016. The couple shares Athena as their only child.
“The love string will last forever! Thank you Daddy! 🤍 Mahal kita,” Athena wrote, alongside a series of photos showing moments with her father through the years.
Friends and fans poured out condolences and support in the comments.
Quinto, who had flown to the U.S. with Athena to attend to family matters, previously confirmed Trevor’s passing and requested privacy during this difficult time.
“I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope [you] give us time to mourn his loss, especially my daughter,” she wrote. “Just pray for us that we will get [through] this by the help of God.”
Trevor’s cause of death was not publicly disclosed, but the announcement came as a surprise to fans of the actress.
