Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae and The Glory actress Lim Ji-yeon are teaming up for the upcoming romantic comedy Nice to Not Meet You, which will premieres exclusively on Prime Video.
Directed by Kim Ga-ram and written by Jung Yeo-rang, the series offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the entertainment industry, mixing industry satire with heartfelt romance.
Jung-jae plays Lim Hyeon-jun, a veteran actor best known for portraying Kang Pil-gu, the lead in a long-running detective series now entering its fifth season. Despite his success, Hyeon-jun yearns to be taken seriously in melodramatic roles.
On the other hand, Ji-yeon stars as Wi Jeong-sin, a decorated political journalist who is unexpectedly transferred to the entertainment desk in the middle of a major investigation. Reluctantly thrown into a world she knows little about, she crosses paths with Hyeon-jun in a clash of strong personalities that soon sparks chemistry neither of them anticipates.
Nice to Not Meet You is the latest addition to Prime Video’s growing Korean content library and will release new episodes weekly.
