Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2024 Dia Mate greeted her boyfriend, OPM artist Juan Karlos Labajo, a happy anniversary with a lighthearted post on TikTok.
The beauty queen shared a short video of them lip-syncing to Nelly’s “Dilemma,” accompanied by a simple but affectionate anniversary message.
The couple first sparked romance rumors in early 2024 after Mate publicly greeted Labajo on his birthday. A few weeks later, the singer-songwriter confirmed their relationship by posting a sweet photo of them together on Instagram.
Juan Karlos, known for hit tracks like “Buwan” and “Ere,” recently appeared in the film Ex-Ex Lovers with Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin.
In May, he expressed gratitude for the support shown to Mate during her Miss Universe Philippines 2024 journey, where she won the Reina Hispanoamericana crown.
