Quadlips, a girl group formed under the AKB48 Group Global Project and managed by Japan’s Superball, continues to grow its fanbase across Asia following a series of shows in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The group—composed of Feni (JKT48—Jakarta), Hina (SKE48—Nagoya), Cole (MNL48—Manila), and Fame (BNK48—Bangkok)—recently released “Wings Grow Back,” a high-energy pop-dance track now available on major streaming platforms. The single comes with a new music video shot in Tokyo, Japan, featuring JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars, often associated with street racing and action films.
Though upbeat in sound, the track carries a message of hope and resilience. It speaks to listeners dealing with pain or setbacks, suggesting that scars can become armor and that it’s possible to recover — to grow wings back stronger and move forward. Feni, who co-produced the track, also contributed to the concept, costume design, and choreography. The group’s dance routine matches the song’s “baddie” theme, showing a mix of confident and playful energy.
The video adds a stylish visual layer to the group’s image, positioning them as a globally active act with a polished aesthetic.
Quadlips is set to return to Manila soon for guest appearances on TV and radio programs. The group also plans to promote their music through online interviews and live performances at select mall shows, which will include meet-and-greet opportunities for fans.
“Wings Grow Back” is now streaming on all major platforms. The official music video is available on their YouTube channel.
