Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has introduced three new variants of its Next Generation Tamaraw — the Wing Van, Mobile Store, and Food Truck — aimed at micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
These new conversions are now available for order through any Toyota dealership nationwide.
The Tamaraw Wing Van is designed for the delivery, logistics, and car detailing sectors. It features a spacious cargo area, a fiberglass plastic body, three-side wing doors, and side compartments with locks.
For retail MSMEs, the Tamaraw Mobile Store provides a mobile platform for businesses like apparel or sari-sari stores. It includes aluminum composite panels, a side-opening window with struts, aesthetic light fixtures, a foldable table, a functional cabinet for storage, and rear jackstands for safety. Customers can customize the interior layout.
The Tamaraw Food Truck is suited for mobile food businesses such as cafés and caterers. It comes equipped with a kitchen-ready layout, food-grade interiors, a water tank with a pump, a wastewater tank, a side-opening window with struts, modern light fixtures, a foldable serving table, and rear jackstands for safety.
All three variants are built on the long-wheelbase diesel M/T Next Generation Tamaraw and include an industrial plug and circuit breaker for electrical equipment.
“From working with our dealers to interacting with prospective customers, we saw the demand for these variants, resulting in the production of these business vehicles on a regular order scheme rather than indent order,” said Elijah Marcial, TMP first vice president for vehicle sales operations.
“These conversions further exhibit the Tamaraw’s flexibility, and we are happy to provide more options that fit the needs of Filipino entrepreneurs,” said Marcial.
TMP is also offering flexible payment schemes and affordable insurance packages for the Next Generation Tamaraw.
Prices for the new variants are Tamaraw 2.4 Food Truck M/T, P1,540,000; Tamaraw 2.4 Mobile Store M/T, P1,490,000; and Tamaraw 2.4 Wing Van M/T, P1,450,000.
Customers can purchase these variants at any of Toyota’s 75 dealerships across the country, which also offer maintenance and servicing.
