Security Bank was recognized by Corporate Governance Asia, a leading authority on ESG and corporate governance in the region, for the fifth straight year, winning six awards at the 15th Asian Excellence Awards held on June 27, 2025, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.
Security Bank received six honors at the 15th Asian Excellence Awards, including Best Investor Relations Company (Philippines), Sustainable Asia Award, Asia’s Best CEO and CFO (Investor Relations), Best Investor Relations Professional (Philippines), and Best Corporate Communications.
With the theme “The Role of Asian Corporations in Climate Neutrality,” the awards spotlight sustainability, corporate governance, and responsible business.
“These awards reflect our commitment to good governance and sustainability, anchored on transparency, accountability, and ethical banking,” said EVP and CFO Eduardo Olbes.
Security Bank was cited for its excellence in disclosure and stakeholder communication. It also earned the Sustainable Asia Award for embedding responsible practices into its operations.
Individual awards went to Bank president and CEO Sanjiv Vohra as Asia’s Best CEO, CFO Eduardo Olbes as Asia’s Best CFO, and Ropi Dangazo as Best Investor Relations Professional, their fifth consecutive wins in their respective categories.
