Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto is heading to Manila for the red carpet premiere of Disney’s Freakier Friday, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 classic.
Jacinto, known for his roles in The Good Place and Top Gun: Maverick, will make a special appearance at the exclusive fan event on Aug. 5 at the SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium, a day before the film’s nationwide release on Aug. 6.
The film reunites Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as Tess and Anna Coleman, who find themselves swapping bodies once again, this time as Anna navigates motherhood and the complexities of blending families.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the movie also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, and Chad Michael Murray.
The premiere is presented by Globe Telecom, in partnership with SM Mall of Asia and SM Cinema. Fans may register for a chance to attend.
