Manila Water Company provides assistance and relief to over 62,000 displaced individuals across 236 evacuation centers in Metro Manila’s east zone who have been affected by tropical cyclone Crising and the intensified southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat. This was made possible through the AGAPAY: WASH for Emergencies program led by Manila Water Foundation, in cooperation with the East Zone Service Areas. In close coordination with the LGUs, the program has helped ensure the delivery of clean and safe drinking water to the most affected areas.
