Jade Riccio blends music and advocacy in ‘Collaborhythm’

Soprano and celebrity vocal coach Jade Riccio headlined Collaborhythm, a concert held on July 4 to mark the opening of a new private concert venue by the Performing Arts and Recreation Center (PARC) Foundation.

PARC, supported by San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora, aims to transform the lives of underprivileged youth through the performing arts. Riccio performed with PARC scholars, including children with special needs, highlighting the foundation’s mission of inclusion.

She sang “Never Enough” with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra and performed duets of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “Sun and Moon” with tenor Arman Ferrer under the baton of composer Rodel Colmenar. Bituin Escalante also joined the concert lineup.

Riccio said her goal is to inspire through music. In May, she performed for children with autism during an event by the Autism Society of the Philippines.

Founder of RMA Studio Academy, Riccio has trained over 400 students, including celebrities like Kai Montinola, Maymay Entrata, and Atasha Muhlach. She recently composed “Kailan Kaya,” a song she hopes will become a TV theme.
