Walang Pasok: ‘Crising’ winds, rains to keep students at home

Several local government units (LGUs) announced the suspension of classes or advised schools to shift into alternative modes of education for Friday, July 18, 2025 due to the effects of tropical depression ‘Crising.’

The affected areas include the following:

  • Malabon City – all levels, public and private
  • Taguig City – no face-to-face classes, kinder to Grade 12, public and private
  • Valenzuela City – kinder to senior high school, public and private

Cordillera Administrative Region

  • Baguio City – preschool to senior high school, public and private

Ilocos Region

  • Dagupan City – all levels, public and private

Central Luzon

  • Talavera, Nueva Ecija – preschool to senior high school, public and private
  • Bustos, Bulacan – all levels

Calabarzon

  • Calaca, Batangas – all levels, public and private;
  • Nasugbu, Batangas – all levels, public and private (July 18 and 19)
  • Taal, Batangas – all K-12 levels, public and private
  • Laguna (entire province) – preschool to senior high school, public and private
  • Quezon (entire province) – kinder to high school, public and private
  • Morong, Rizal – no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private

Mimaropa

  • Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro – all levels, public and private

Bicol Region

  • Daet, Camarines Norte – no face-to-face classes, primary and secondary, public and private
  • Vinzons, Camarines Norte – primary and secondary, public and private

Negros Island Region

  • Talisay, Negros Oriental – no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private
  • Siquijor (entire province) – all levels, public and private
