My comfort food is sinigang na baboy. Mahilig ako sa sabaw. Pangalawa, mahilig ako sa gulay. Gusto ko mga dalawang piraso lang na karne tapos puro gulay na. Ang masarap sa sinigang, ‘pag may natira, iinitin mo sa gitna ng gabi, hihigupin mo siya kahit wala ng karne at gulay – sabaw na lang.

Chef Tatung Sarthou

Pinaka comfort food ko ang adobo at sinigang na bulalo. I go back to the basics, yung uncomplicated, yung flavors ng food, yung hindi mo na kailangan magpa-impress pero masarap.

‘Lumpia queen’ Abi Marquez

Ang comfort food ko ay fried chicken in all forms. Hindi ko alam kung bakit, pero ‘di ako nagsasawa sa kanya. I think it’s the Filipino in me that loves crunchy food. I love how versatile you can be – playing with different kinds of sauces, different kinds of coating. And I haven’t found someone who doesn’t love fried chicken also.
