The Quezon City government is bringing back the La Loma Lechon Festival 2026 on May 17 to celebrate the district’s culinary heritage, faith, culture, and local businesses.
Held alongside the feast of Nuestra Señora de Salvacion de La Loma, the festival highlights La Loma’s identity as the Lechon Capital of the Philippines while promoting tourism and livelihood opportunities.
Mayor Joy Belmonte will unveil the La Loma Gastronomic Map, which features the district’s top food destinations and strengthens its reputation as a culinary hub.
Festival highlights include the Lechon Reinvented Cook-Off, a cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Tatung Sarthou, the Lechon Float Parade, a community boodle fight, cultural performances, and a local bazaar. The event, themed “Pamanang Lasa, Pamanang Pananampalataya,” will run from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in La Loma, Quezon City, and will conclude with a fireworks display.
